After setting up one of my Raspberry PIs as a “Magic Mirror” - sans the mirror but with a 7" touch screen I found the need for a module or two.

Magic Mirror2 has a lot of good modules to choose from. One of them did almost what I wanted.1 So by the magic of Free and Open-source Software (FOSS) I forked one of them and made a few changes.

So still in the spirit of FOSS I’ve made the fork available to donwload. You can find at my Git page; MMM-ping2 - and all the instructions are in the readme file.
