I’ve been using Mailcows docker release for a couple of years now. One of my favourite aspects with selfhosting a mailserver is the use of aliases. Although logging in to the web interface to create, check for or delete an alias is time-consuming and boring.

I use aliases when creating accounts on different online services or buying stuff online. Just so I can delete an alias when I don’t want more of the vendor or sites spam/offers clogging my email. I just have a couple of “real” email addresses - but a lot of aliases.
